About Us
West Ridge is a family owned and operated bed and breakfast in the heart of Central PA. The welcoming family atmosphere can be felt the moment you arrive. You will also notice the beauty of the well manicured grounds as you approach this 18-acre country estate — the charm of which can be enjoyed all year round. West Ridge is open during the Thanksgiving, Easter and Christmas holidays; however, there will be no breakfast served or housekeeping during this time.
The Grounds
The grounds include two separate houses — the Main House and the Guest House. There are four rooms in the Main House and five rooms in the Guest House. Each room is individually decorated with a separate theme. All rooms are air conditioned, have private baths, TVs and WiFi as well as a king or queen sized bed. The Innkeepers
Susan and Tim Kauffman took over as the innkeepers of West Ridge in 2016. Susan brings years of B&B experience and, since they both grew up on farms, they are the perfect pair to maintain the 18-acre, country estate. Being a family owned and operated B&B, the Kauffmans live on the property and are the masterminds behind the scheduling, property upkeep and homemade breakfast served every day. They enjoy the slow-paced lifestyle that the West Ridge Bed and Breakfast offers and look forward to sharing that with their guests.
